Capra Press, a small, independent publishing house, was founded in 1969 by Noel Young and published notable authors including Lawrence Durrell, Anais Nin, and Ray Bradbury. Capra was Raymond Carver’s first publisher and Henry Miller’s last. Now back in the hands of the family, Capra Press honors its long tradition of publishing quality works by exceptional authors, both established and emerging.

The publication of I Never Expected This Good Life: Poems and Stories by Jennifer Futernick, available December 2011, re-launches and continues the 42 year literary legacy of Capra Press.
