Capra Press, established by Noel Young in 1969, sold to Robert Bason in 2001 because of Noel’s ill health, has now returned to family ownership.
In March 2011, Capra was purchased by Hilary Young Brodey, (Noel Young’s oldest daughter), her husband Phil and John and Diana Harrington.
Capra Press will remain a small, independent press and continue the tradition of publishing quality literary works by exceptional authors. Capra has published over 300 titles by authors that include Henry Miller, Lawrence Durrell, Ray Bradbury, Jim Houston, Raymond Carver and Anaïs Nin.
Capra Press is not accepting submissions for 2021.
